Terms and Conditions of Services

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website https://showmevenice.it (“Site”) and the tour guide, tour, excursion, and transfer services (“Services”) offered by Sho Me s.r.l. (“us,” “we,” “our”).

The use of the Site and the booking of services imply the full acceptance of these Terms.
Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

Sho Me s.r.l. offers authentic tourist experiences in Venice and the surrounding areas, provided by licensed tour guides.
The Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Walking Tours: Private and group tours to discover the main monuments and lesser-known areas of Venice.
  • Boat Tours: Guided excursions through the canals of Venice and in the Venetian lagoon.
  • Transfers: Transportation/transfer services to and from the main arrival points (airport, train station, port).
  • Custom Excursions: Tailor-made itineraries created based on the specific requests of the client.

2. Bookings and Payments

How to Book

Bookings can be made as follows:

  • Tours: Through the booking form on the chosen tour, which also processes payment via the SumUp electronic payment service.
  • Transfers: Through the booking form on the page https://showmevenice.it/private-transfer/.
    It is also possible to make a booking using the contact form on the Site or by email at info@shomevenice.com.

A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of our written confirmation.

Prices

The prices of the Tours are indicated in Euros (€) and, unless otherwise specified, include VAT. Any additional costs, which are always specified on the chosen tour’s page, are not included in the tour price unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Methods

Payments are made through the SumUp electronic payment service.

3. Cancellation and Modification Policies

Cancellation by the Client

Any cancellations must be communicated in writing to the email address info@shomevenice.com.

In order to provide the highest level of service with top guides and guaranteed tour departures, cancellations and amendments may be subject to fees:

  • with less than 72 hours (3 days) notice, in case of late arrival or “no-show”, 100% of the amount will be charged.

  • Museum tickets are NOT REFUNDABLE from the day of booking.

Cancellation by Sho Me s.r.l.

In exceptional circumstances or due to force majeure (e.g., adverse weather conditions preventing the service from being carried out safely, sudden unavailability of the guide), Sho Me s.r.l. reserves the right to cancel a tour.
In such a case, the client will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid or, alternatively, may reschedule the service for another date, subject to availability.

Changes to Bookings

Any request by the client to change a booking is subject to our approval and availability and may incur additional costs.

4. Client's Responsibilities and Obligations

The client is required to:

  • Arrive on time at the agreed-upon place and time for the start of the tour.
  • Behave respectfully towards the guide, other participants, and the places visited.
  • Follow the safety instructions provided by the guide during the service.
  • Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the type of tour booked.
  • Communicate any special needs or mobility issues in advance.
  • Any food allergies or intolerances must be communicated in advance, at the time of booking.

Show Me s.r.l is not responsible for injury to persons or damage to property resulting from the negligent or reckless behavior of the client.

5. Limitation of Liability of Sho Me s.r.l.

Sho Me s.r.l. is committed to providing its Services with the utmost professionalism and diligence.
However, it cannot be held liable for:

  • Damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings during tours.

  • Inconvenience or delays caused by strikes, unforeseen events, or force majeure.

  • Unscheduled closures of museums, churches, or other sites included in the itinerary. In such cases, the guide will propose a valid alternative.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the site https://showmevenice.it, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Sho Me s.r.l. or its respective owners and is protected by copyright laws.
Any reproduction, even partial, without written authorization is prohibited.

7. Personal Data Processing

Personal data provided by users will be processed in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”).

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
For any dispute that may arise in relation to the interpretation, execution, or validity of these Terms, the Court of Venice will have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

Sho Me s.r.l. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The changes will be effective from the date of their publication on the Site.
It is advisable to periodically consult this page to check for any updates.
